I have vulvar lichen planus and it is on my inner labia and the clitoris. It looks bright red and sometimes and reddish purple when I am in a flare. It causes me severe pain as well. How long have you noticed this? Are you having any discharge along with this? VLP will give a yellowish discharge. Have you had a biopsy of the area? That is how I found out what I really had. I do not have any odor as you mention. >
Guest guest
I haven't had a biopsy or anything other then the vaginal wetmount to look for yeast or BV. Weather allowing, It's supposed to storm pretty good and I have to go out of town, but anyway I have an appt on Saturday and I am going to be sure to see if they will look at it. > > > > Do others have specific red areas?
