Guest guest
Does anybody knows if there is a homeschool group for parents with special needs in Broward. I am looking into that possibility for my daughter. Thanks Helen
Guest guest
Perhaps some local home schoolers will speak up, but here is a link to a Yahoo Group of autism home schoolers: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AutismHomeschool/ Posts have been slow recently on this site, but the archives and files have lots of good information and sources. Guest guest
I sent Ari to Koala school for a year and a half. He went when he was just starting High School. The kids can either attend in person or learn at home at their own pace. It is run by a psychiatrist, and he is always there. Ari did well there. It costs about $8500 per year. The classes are small and the teachers really care. Sandy Sent from my iPad

Guest guest
I homeschool my 15 year-old son who has autism as well as my 12 year-old NT son. I'm not aware of any homeschool groups in Broward which are exclusively for special needs kids. But there are a lot of homeschool groups with different orientations; religious, secular, older kids, younger kids. Give me a call if you'd like to talk about homeschooling . We love it : ) ----
