Thank you for the welcome to the group. I appretiate the advice. I'll

be meeting with my new GI Dr. This coming Friday, so I'll be armed with

questions. I'm also having an ERCP Friday and I'm so nervous about the

procedure, it sounds horrible.

I started on Urso this week only 10mg/kg/day so I will be asking for

higher dose. I also was having a hard time with itching and not much

helping it, so I tried a tanning bed twice this week and have had NO

itching since then. I can't get over how much better I feel since I'm

not spending half my nights awake itching. I have much more energy.

If you have any more advice for my Dr. appt. I would appreciate it.

Hi ,

Make sure they knock you right out for the ERCP. Ask for lots of

sedative! Good luck.

ERCP sounds horrible, but I have only good

memories about the ERCPs I had. I always felt better after an ERCP than before,

and the throat discomfort is a small price to pay for that. Please make sure to

find someone with enough experience with the procedure.
