Hello!

Some of you may have heard the commercials with Walmart and $4

generic prescriptions. Here is the listing site:

http://www.kten.com/Global/story.asp?S=5562740

Unfortuneately, I'm on Medicare, Supplement and a Medicare Drug

Plan. I chose the Medicare RX higher option because a few of my

drugs were on a second tier level. However, looking over the new

generic drugs, many of my expenses would have been much lower opting

for no Medicare RX plan this year. Who knows how long this program

will last. But, I wish I would have heard of it before signing my

year away to having another $60.00 taken out of my SSA benefits I

worked so hard to get. I have great coverage with Medicare, my

supplement and my drug coverage and can't complain. But this would

have saved me quite alot over the year end costs.

So this was just a tidbit of information.

Well, I probably better stop rambling on today. As I think I have

posted enough already.

I am just finding this site so helpful in my life right now. Thanks

for being here. Thank the Lord for guiding me here. It is the

right place for me now.

I AM NOT ALONE! I AM NOT ALONE!! I AM NOT ALONE!

Coincidentally, my shrink mentioned the program to me yesterday since she was

putting me on Adderall which is available in generic. She said many of her

patients are just having their prescriptions filled there w/o any prescription

coverage because it's cheaper than their co-pay with insurance.

I used to several years ago have all my local prescriptions filled at Walmart.

Then it got overcrowded and I'd have to wait in line, and that drove me away.

So, I'm not sure if I want to deal with the prescription hassle to save $6.

Gonna have to think about. Also, my DH picks up my prescriptions most of the

time, so would need to way in his opinion.

P.S. We are glad you are here, too, CJ.
