looking for Autism consultant to find schools/specialists in Dade & Broward

We are planning to move from California to South Florida next summer. Our the

older son (6-yr old) is on the Autism spectrum. He is considered high

functioning and just started Kindergarten in a mainstream classroom with an 1:1

aide to help with transitions and behaviors difficulties.

We have begun looking into schools and other private resources, but really need

help in navigating our options. We are looking for a professional advocate or

consultant that can help us with good knowledge of private schools and resources

in the area.

We have a lot of great professionals from multiple disciplines on our current

intervention team and have thankfully been making great progress. So far,

finding comparable resources in Florida has been a challege from across the

country. We really need some feet on the street. Any suggestions or advice would

be greatly appreciated.
