Please realize that APD will only allow authorization under the waiver through COB August 31, 2010 for individuals under age 21 who have not yet transitioned to the MSP system for PCA services.

Please verify that the provider has completed the KEYPRO process for

service authorization under MSP.

MEDICAID REFORM IS STARTING

AGAIN & WE ARE NOT INVITED

The Florida Legislature is preparing now to introduce legislation in 2011 to move all Medicaid Patients into managed care as quickly as possible.

Preliminary reports say that the new Speaker of the House, Rep. Dean Cannon of Winter Park, and the new Senate President, Sen. Mike Haridopolos of Brevard County, will introduce matching reform bills on the first day of the legislature in February of 2011.

Both are working hard to justify their plans and secure votes now to change Medicaid patient care - forever. Take the time to voice your opinion.
