As I sit here this morning it is hard not to reflect back on our lives 4 years

ago when

and Todd were undergoing their live liver donor transplant. My emotions are all

over the

board. We have all been through so much over the years, but through it all my

son Todd

keeps a positive attitude and continues to amaze me with his zest to live life

to the fullests.

Of course along the way he has had down times, but always jumps right back into

life when

symptoms settle down. He is doing well in college, has a wonderful girlfriend,

and plans for

his future with PSC as just a minor obstacle. He still has the attitude of

being invinsible, but I

suppose that is a good thing and normal for a 21 year old.

But most of all I reflect on the wonderful people I have met through this

journey of PSC and

transplant. You are all so wonderful in your own ways...that is what makes this

group the

special place that it is. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, support and

fears with us all.

We touch lives on this board that we don't even know we are touching. Together

we make a

difference in the lives of those that suffer from this dreadful disease. So

thank you for

making a difference in my life and also in the life of my precious son. I am

forever grateful.

Together in the fight...Whatever it takes!

Joanne (mom of Todd, 21, psc 01, crohns 02, tx twice 03, rPSC 05, diabetes 06,

living life to

the fullest 07)

Congratulations Todd, Joanne and the rest of the Grieme Family!

I know where Todd gets his zest for life. There is no one more full of zest than

his mom. I'm sure this love of life and family is a more powerful medicine than

some of the drugs Todd has to take. I'm glad I get a little dose each year at

our conference.

Enjoy your celebration.
