Guest guest
The University of Kansas Medical Center has wonderful E- Cards that you can send Barby. It’s a free service they have for their patients. You just go to their web site, chose the card you want to send, include a note and they print them out and hand deliver. Couldn’t be easier. I just congratulated Barby on her new baby - figured she'd seen all the "thinking of you" and "get well soon" cards. Will let you know if she's paying attention. Guest guest
Barb, Thanks for finding the E cards. I didn't know they had those available. Now that I'm feeling a little more human I wanted to write and thank all of you for your love and concern. I've received many E cards and emails and truly appreciate all of you. And yes, , I did receive the baby E card. Didn't want to laugh too much and split a staple. The plan now is for me to go home tomorrow (Friday) which is a a week and a day after surgery. I'm still having some pain but it is mostly the usual gas distention which walking will help so I"m walking and walking despite the pain. Interestingly there is another psc support person on the floor right now. I plan to see that person today if they will see me and feel up to it. Nurse is here so I need to go but wanted to catch you up a little on what is happening here. Blessings, Barby - KS
