This law was established a decade ago to help our nation improve our education system. Although it has helped many students throughout the country, it has also had some limitations that the Department of Education wants to address. As such, the Department plans on applying for a flexibility waiver that will enable them to closely align our state's accountability system with a revised federal plan. Please take a moment to review the Department of Education's new web page and also share this information with your friends, colleagues and anyone you feel would like to participate in this state and national conversation on public education. To view rhe web page click here. The Department of Education will soon post their draft application and solicit stakeholder feedback. Guest guest
We don't have enough accountability as it is in the school system for our kids. Now they want to take even that away. How many of us continue to fight to get the best education for our kids? If they take away the No Child Left Behind we will be even further put back than we were over 10 years ago.To: deniseslist Sent: Sunday, October 16, 2011 8:04 PMSubject: FDDC: Waiver Request for No Child Left Behind From: Florida Developmental Disabilities Council Sent: Friday, October 14, 2011 10:09 AMTo: denisekarp@...Subject: Waiver Request for No Child Left Behind Having trouble viewing this email?
