Oh no, not a homophobe. BTW - I'm only " out " on the internet, and in my

personal life. I don't ever want my employer to know I'm gay - I " pass " very

well, and I don't want them to know things like I used to abuse alcohol.

Corporate America is pretty flaky as it is.

What the guy really finds nauseous is that youre gay and that you and

I can be friends regardless he finds terrifying.

Pete:

What is this " BRASS EYE " . Is it a show we can get in the states like we used

to get Benny Hill, and Monty Python?

I may not be able to rouse a nation out of torpor like

with his show Brass Eye (nor the werewithal to hide in France

afterward), but if I can do my own bit to try to raise consciousness

in defiance of ignorance and hooliganism I will do it.

I doubt that it's been shown on American TV and I can pretty well

guarantee that the final program, to which I referred, will ever be,

or on Brit TV again either for that matter - AFAIK a repeat on

digital was cancelled.

The entire show can normally be downloaded from:

http://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/

but the site is having problems at the moment. The site is devoted

to producer/writer/actor 's work. The show thats

creating all the fuss is called " Brass Eye Special " .

Brass Eye is satire that may not translate too well to American

humor. It satirizes Brit programs and newspapers you wont get and

dupes brit politicans and celebrities into saying stupid things. It

also satirizes the American TV imports we take too. BES was followed

by another brilliant one about Crime, which has ilarious parody about

an Amercan church advertising for gun-toting priests. There is an

hysterical animated sequence of a vengeful Jesus, armed with an M16,

returning to his birthplace and saying " No room at the Inn? There is

now! " and machine gunning the innkeeper and his family.

Should you download BES assuming it becomes available again, be

warned you may find it very, very shocking and disturbing in places,

especially if you have sexual abuse issues, as it satirizes the way

the media treats the topic of paedophilia and the inconsistencies in

ppl's attitudes (like those gross child beauty pageants and the

shocking lyrics of teen icons like Eminem). That is why I am certian

you'll never see it on US TV and almost certainly Brit TV again

either.

P.

There have been a huge number of complaints to the station, Channel

4, and TV regulatory bodies, however many sexual abuse surviviors

have written indicating support for the program. Unfortunately, at

least one of the regulatory bodies only provides a webpage for making

complaints, not one for indicating support for a program!

It may not be available because of the controversy and also I would

have thought was violating copyright in any case - but whatever, you

have the URL.

Kelsey,

I had the same amount on Wednesday and the doc wouldn't even let me out of the

hospital until noon yesterday and, even then, told me I should quarantine myself

for 3-5 more days in the house--no grocery store, out to eat, etc. When did you

get out of the hospital? Or were you an in-home isolation? Did the doc give

you any advice? Follow their advice! The inner-house people (as you've read!)

are a different story and I have had to adjust accordingly! I'll be interested

in 's response to you. But I like her advice--don't freak out about it.

What's done is done, right?

I sat in my husband's car today and we talked for about 1 hr. I had RAI 200

mci on Wed 9/24. Do u think I put him at risk? We were about 3 feet apart

and also he took me out to eat at a restaurant. Do u think I put the people I

passed by at risk? Geeze, reading about all the advice that u guys are giving

beth is making me nervous. I didn't know all this stuff. I thought that

I had enough time since Wed and that it was ok today to go out in public.

Oh, Kelsey!

Don't agonize about things you can't change.

Your husband was probably safe in the car with you for the hour. Merely

passing people in a restaurant won't put them at risk. Hopefully you weren't

sitting back to back with an immune impaired person,

and hopefully they have really good dish washers (actually, at this point, your

saliva is probably not likely to be all that hot).

I think 4 days out from a high dose is a little soon to be close to the general

public, but then I just told you that I tend to be overly cautious. Don't

torture yourself over it.

I watched this show! It was also found in the head lettuce. They

think that is because they are all cored together in the field. Not

just the bags- scarry stuff. Wash it well!! Better yet if you can,

grow your own- Fresh from your own garden is always better anyways :)

There should be a Trader Joes not too far from you.

Call 1-800-SHOP-TJS. Trader Joes carries Brown Rice breads, meringue cookies,

Savory thins (GF crackers), lots of chips & snacks, some prepared salads,

tamales, etc. Their prices are awesome.

You might also find a Whole Foods, not sure if there

is one near Mission

Valley. There is one in La Jolla. They have a large selections, but prices are

quite steep – bread at TJ’s is 2.79, it’s 4.39 for the same

loaf at Whole Foods.

Have fun, San

Diego is a great city.
