Guest guest
I really don't want to get this whole issue stirred up again. However I do want to speak out on one issue. It was brought up that the members of the group that have already had a transplant should move on to their own group. I completely disagree with that. Although I'm sure they would feel more comfortable being in their own group, I think that we really need them here too. Who better to take our hand, then someone that has already walked the path? Just my two cents More new features than ever. Check out the new AOL Mail!
Guest guest
that's what I was thinking, too. There are times someone asks a question about having the transplant or about post-transplant info, and often, the people who have the answers to such questions are the ones who have had a transplant. That member of the group that just had a transplant, it sounds like she's been in this group a long time and that many people know her well...so, would that mean that now that she's had a transplant, she needs to leave? That doesn't make much sense. RE: Calm down I really don't want to get this whole issue stirred up again. However I do want to speak out on one issue. Thanks, Ali Ali, I know that there is another group for the members who have had transplants. I'm glad that you all have a place of your own, and look forward to one day joining you there. What I meant in my post is that I didn't want any of the members that have already had their transplants to think tht they no longer are welcome in this group. We're glad that so many of you want to be members of both groups. We also have a lot to learn from you guys. I hope you're doing well. More new features than ever. Check out the new AOL Mail! Guest guest
Let me clarify what I meant by saying the post transplant people have their own site. I never meant for them to be banished from the other site, because we do look to them for help and advice. What I was trying to say was that we weren't using the whole system the way it was set up. I can't imagine trying to help a post-transplant person with an issue, when I haven't even gotten close to a transplant yet. But for each other that site would be really helpful to compare medications, problems, issues. Of course they will still also be on our site, too.Check out AOL Money Finance's list of the hottest products and top money wasters of 2007. Guest guest
I agree we need info from those who have gone before us who are currently seeking information. We are all in this together, so lets be respectful of others feeling about all topics. We are all fighters that is what keeps us going, but that does not mean that we need to get in the last word on all subjects. At times we may just need to respectfully agree that we disagree!
