Schools are bustling with

students, teachers are excited about the new year, fall is in the air and the holiday season is not far off. Yet, glancing back toward this past summer provides me with a strong reminder as to why the CSC exists and why we do what we

do: to transform children's lives. In fact, this year we

celebrate (and you may have noticed our "tweaked"

logo) 10 years of a proven track record of transforming

the lives of children and families in Broward County.At our August Council meeting, there was hardly a dryeye in the house as youth in the CSC funded STEP(Supported Training and Education Program) sharedtheir personal journeys from challenges to confidence
