Guest guest
Dear Listmates, 's List welcomed two new members today, which brought the total listserv membership to 2,000. Although concentrated mostly in South Florida, we do have members in many other states and several other countries. I believe we are predominantly parents of children with autism, however there is a significant number of autistic individuals (or individuals with autism), professionals and other interested parties. I started the listserv in the year 1999 with a group of 30, with the sole aim of sharing information. Within a year, the numbers had grown so high that I moved us to eGroups, which merged with Yahoo Groups a year later. Although I'm glad we are able to help so many people, I'm sorry that twelve years later we still have to.

Guest guest
,I know I speak for many when I say how lucky I am to have you in my life! For those of us who did not have to navigate these waters when there was precious little support for loved ones of those with Autism, I cannot imagine what it must have been like. Thank you for making our world more unified. For my fellow listmates: I think the best tribute we can pay is to always be supportive, try to share positively, while "outing" the snake oil salesmen who try to capitalize on our desires to help our kids in any way possible. We truly ARE all in this together. Thank you, ! You are wonderful and Noah is one fortunate young man to have chosen an amazing mom!!With oodles of respect and appreciation! s MahlerJalen's Mom Dear Listmates, 's List welcomed two new members today, which brought the total listserv membership to 2,000. Guest guest
Dear , You have been the umbrella in a rain storm! Thank you for everything that you have done to give us a place to find vital information, a shoulder to lean on, a cyber hand to hold! I return your sentiment, as everyone on the list does, we wish the list wasn't necessary, but are soooo glad it is here! Thank you!
