Although concentrated mostly in South Florida, we do have members in many other states and several other countries. I believe we are predominantly parents of children with autism, however there is a significant number of autistic individuals (or individuals with autism), professionals and other interested parties. I started the listserv in the year 1999 with a group of 30, with the sole aim of sharing information. Within a year, the numbers had grown so high that I moved us to eGroups, which merged with Yahoo Groups a year later. Although I'm glad we are able to help so many people, I'm sorry that twelve years later we still have to.

Guest guest
- I can't believe the list has grown so much!! I believe I was one of the original 30 - from back in the Baudhuin days when Hailey and Noah were classmates. Hailey turned 18 in September. I can't tell you how much this list has and continues to help and comfort me throughtout all the challenges we have faced. A million thanks to you !! Guest guest
I remember how lost and confused (and a little panicked!) I felt when my daughter was first diagnosed. And, I also remember how much better I started to feel when I found sList. Its such a blessing to have people to share the triumphs and frustrations with and the advice has been invaluable. , Thank you so much for everything you have done. I cannot imagine how much more challenging life would be without this list. You have made such a positive impact on my life and on my daughter's life and I know I am not the only one who would say this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart . -- Have a lovely day!
