Guest guest
Hi all, I have a question for a friend whose son just had a colectomy. They are using Mederma on his scar to try to reduce it but she asked me if I knew of anything that might work better. When Bill had his colectomy I also bought Mederma but he wouldn't use it as his scar tissue was way too sensitive. Anyone out there try any other product they liked? Thanks everyone. Guest guest
I used vitamin E oil a couple of times a day for almost a year to soften the skin as it healed and try to lessen the appearance of the scar. I think it helped a little in the healing, but I'm not sure how much better it actually made the scar look. Maybe using it a couple times a day, though, along with Mederma, would help?? > > Hi all, > I have a question for a friend whose son just had a colectomy. > They are using Mederma on his scar to try to reduce it but she asked > me if I knew of anything that > might work better. Guest guest
IT is very expensive, but it is called strivectin. it is available at sephora, ulta, nordstrom and other high end cosmetic stores. it was originally developed to treat scars, but they have found that it also decreases and heals fine lines and wrinkles. pam >
