went for the CT angiogram yesterday. I was waiting in the

waiting room and he was back in like 10 minutes. He looked confused

and said, I'm done. They didn't go through the groin as they said they

would. It was just a CT scan. So we didn't want to drive four hours

and be told to come back, I called the nurse. She said she would call

radiology and call me back. She did and said apparently they have

changed how they do the test, they gave a different contrast and it was

done correctly. She seemed as confused as us, and said, apparently she

needed an inservice on the new way. Anyway, I guess we will know

something early next week.

, there is a new way of doing angiograms with a CT instead of the

traditional way of going up the artery thru the groin. We are using

these with angiograms for the heart at the hospital where I work.

Many docs are just getting certified to use this new system. That

way they can get the info needed about blood flow in a less invasive

way, less complications too. Hope all turns out well for .
