Guest guest
Go see Jerome Weiss in San Francisco. He is on the board of the NVA. He is very nice and gentle. He is a urologist but he was the one who accurately evaluated my pelvic floor. > > If any of you ladies could be of any assistance or guide me in the > right direction I'd certaintly appreciate it. Guest guest
I don't think there's anybody with Hills. I had them for a while. :-( Hopefully you can find somebody in the Bay Area. Lindsey
Guest guest
I don't need a physician to accurately evaluate my pelvic floor because I already have a highly trained PT in Los Altos Dr. Fraser. I've heard mixed reviews about Jerome Weiss which is normal but I will keep him in mind. Thanks! ** Re: Help Finding a Vulvar Specialist Go see Jerome Weiss in San Francisco. Guest guest
You can go to: https://www.hillphysicians.com/phydir/physearch.aspx and find a neurologist who is affiliated with Hill Physicians. I found one in Manteca and you could check other cities around your area and probably find others. Then you could call them and find out whether they have experience in vulvar problems. Guest guest
Ora, I go to the Hills Physician when I need to find a provider, although I haven't been able to find a Neurologist that has an interest in vulvar problems, whether it be in-network or out-of-network. I asked my so-called Vulvar Specialist at Stanford if she knew any physician and her reply was, "I don't know any Neurologist that has an interest in treating vulvar pain, I'm sorry." My jaw just fell to the floor because I thought if anybody would've had an idea it would have been her....now my search still continues, I believe the nerves are involved with this condition. What type of doctor did you find in Manteca, I'm curious since I live their? ** Re: Help Finding a Vulvar Specialist You can go to: https://www.hillphysicians.com/phydir/physearch.aspx and find a neurologist who is affiliated with Hill Physicians. Guest guest
Here is the one I found in Manteca. You could call his office and ask whether he deals with Vulvar problems. I doubt that the lady at Hills has done that but I suppose she might have done so. They probably have listings for Neurologists but not for all things they treat. I would not rely on information from them based on a phone call. I like to do my own research. If you go to the url I gave you you can check other cities around Manteca. I found several in Fremont but you could probably find something closer. https://www.hillphysicians.com/phydir/physearch.aspx Ora Physician Search Results Alan G Schaffert, MD Practice Name: Alan Schaffert MD more 1262 E North St map Manteca, CA 95336 Office Hours: M-F 9-5 Specialty:* Neurology Accepting new patients: Yes Wheel Chair Access: N/A Board certifications: Neurology 1987-LIFE Gender: Male Languages spoken: Medical school: Wayne State University Residency: Barrow Neurological Institute Hospital privileges: Doctors Medical Center-Modesto, Memorial Medical Center-Modesto, Doctors Hospital Manteca Board certification: Neurology 1987-LIFE UPIN/Fax number: Providers may log into Hill inSite for this information.
