Dear Friendship Circle Families and Volunteers,

We trust that everyone is well rested and that you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. We are looking forward to another successful and fun year at the Friendship Circle.

To kickoff our year, we are inviting all our Friendship Circle families and volunteers to a Pre-Rosh Hashanah Ice Cream Social. It will take place on Thursday, September 2nd from 4:00 - 5:30pm at Chabad of Parkland, 7170 Loxahatchee Rd, Parkland FL 33067. This program will include many exciting Rosh Hashanah activities, such as a beekeeper, a Rosh Hashana Shofar demonstration, honey-dish making, apple and honey gelato (and other assorted flavors) .The children will learn exciting holiday songs and hear a story.

We are pleased to announce that we will be having a service for children with special needs for Rosh Hashana high holidays at Chabad of Parkland. It will take place on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Thursday 9th of September from 5:00 - 6:00pm. The children and their families will have a chance to experience what the holiday means in a fun filled environment that is geared specifically towards them. This program will include: High Holiday Prayer Service, Shofar blowing, Holiday songs, eating delicious Holiday foods and much more.

Welcome back to our amazing and dedicated Friendship Circle volunteers!!

Please save the date, and tell all your friends who are interested in volunteering at the Friendship Circle about our spectacular sukkot program, "Sumo Wrestling in the Sukkah". It will take place on the 5th night of Sukkot, Monday, September 27th at the home of Rabbi Shuey & Biston from 5:00 - 7:00pm. More details will follow. Sushi and dinner will be served.
