I have cms title xx1, and my husband just started a new job with the option of

prtivate insurance. Can we have both, I used to live in another county and I

did not have any problem with that, because my private just covered 2,000 a year

for pt,ot and st so cms covered what ever was left. But I had some trouble with

cms paying for a high cost medication .

Thanks

Your husband can take the insurance for you and him and not the childrens. The policy when you have two insurances is that the private insurance will be your primary and Medicaid the secondary. In practice your doctor will bill the private insurance and then will bill you the diference to you not to Medicaid. If the new employee only offer family health insurance you have to decide what can you afford.
