Service Animals by Students With Disabilities - Denied?

I am looking for families that have had their child's service dog denied access to public schools. I am working with an advocate who is trying to get the ACLU to take the case. We must show a pattern of service dogs being denied. Please contact me offlist so we can work to have the service dogs in school - hjhawk@...

Here is the new guidelines for service dogs in public schools. Again it says it is up to the IEP which is a violation of the child's civil rights.

 

The Department of Education has issued the following memorandum

regarding the DPS: 2010-164 Guidelines

for School Districts on the Use of Service Animals by Students With
