Guest guest
Listmates, Grace went to an endocrinologist this week who saw how low she was in vitamin D and prescribed a 50,000iu softgel which she took yesterday. This morning, I cannot get her out of bed, she is so tired and in pain. Has this happened to anyone else? We just got back cortisol testing and her cortisol is sky high...sometimes 19 times the mean of the reference range. If there is anyone here that has this same set of issues and can shed light on this, I would be so grateful. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
Sorry , no similar experiences to report. Sounds like a huge amount to take, in my uneducated opinion. I'm keeping Grace and you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care. Guest guest
, I've never heard of anyone haveing that much in one dose. I would call the dr and make sure that is the correct dose. 900iu maybe if sh was low. Check with poisin control if that is even a safe dosage. It sound like a dangerous dose to me. If it was correct she prabably should be monitored at the hospital because that could cause damage that high all at once. Keep us informed.
