Guest guest
I am not sure what is ..but it's not very visible and doctors think nothing of it. You can only imgine how frustrating it is when you are always in pain....................... > > > From: outstandingg2000 > > Subject: I need someone to look at pictures of my vulva...Can anyone help? > > To: VulvarDisorders > > Date: Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 4:49 PM > > This is an update.I took a few pictures and need someone to > > look at > > them, someone who has some experiance...I saw another doc > > today but > > he thinks nothing of it, I might have swollen veins I > > don't know;; > > Please reffer me to someone who could take a look at pics > > of my > > vulva. Guest guest
Hi outstanding,I am so sorry you are still in so much pain. Hang in there, because if you persist, somehow things will begin to come together for you. When you say you need someone to look at your pics, do you mean someone on the group? The first person that comes to my mind - would be our group owner, Dee...but bless her heart she has had eye surgery within the last few weeks and I'm not sure if she would be able to see that good right now. At one time, I had my husband take photos, too...so I could see what in the HECK was going on! (I have since erased them ;-) I sure feel for you...I know this stuff gets so old! What kind of doc did you go to? I would really think a Dermatologist might could help you more than anyone else. They are so used to dealing with skin conditions. Now that you have taken pics....can you try to describe exactly what you see? Have you tried any topical meds on your skin? By chance are you perimenopausal or in menopause. Take Care,ChelleThis is an update.I took a few pictures and need someone to look atthem, someone who has some experiance...I saw another doc today buthe thinks nothing of it, I might have swollen veins I don't know;;Please reffer me to someone who could take a look at pics of myvulva. I have had problems with my vulva skin and urinary frequency and> > urgency for about 2 years now. Basically I am in chronic pain24/7. Have you been able to lift the hood to see what may be there. It could jsut be an accumualtion of discharge, mucous etc. that is trapped in there. Can you see it and have you tried to remove it? I am not sure at all what it could be, but it certainly sounds like that is the cause of your pain. Have you ever been to a doctor who has seen it? Have you been tested for Lichen Planus or Lichen Sclerosis? >
Guest guest
I remember one of the woman here having a problem and the doctor found a hair stuck under the hood. I have some problems where the hood doesn't move easily over the clit which bothers me sometimes. The doctor gave me some meds to use to loosen up the hood. Guest guest
Anything in that area would be painful. I suppose it could also be a boil--staph infection. I can't understand if they can see it why they don't at least identify it.
