I agree, but I think the biggest problem is that most of the docs prescribing oral contraceptives DON'T even know that they can lead to vulvar pain! Sad, but true! Libby realizes the connection, and at least the NVA is doing studies on hormonal connections...so hopefully the next generation will be more educated about this than we have been. I began taking the pill in 1989 and I don't remember reading anything in the handout about the possibility of vulvar pain. I wonder if they include anything these days! Would be interesting to know.
