Guest guest
Hello everyone... Please tell me that some/most/any of you have what i call the peek-a- boo Pains so i know it's not just me and this is typical of Fibro for some? Its the pains that come on some what hard at times but can be mild also. They are in any area at any time and it's just for a second or 2 and when it comes on hard it's sometimes startling the kind that makes you jump because you were not expecting the pain to hit like a jolt or quick flash of pain! Now i can deal with pain as i dealt with pain from my ongoing back problems for years. But this.......It's almost like the pain is playing Mind Games with me because it knows i can tolerate pain but only if its steady in its spot.. It's Peek-a-boo, I am over here..(a sec later)...now im not! Then nothing would happen for several minuets then it hits again...Now i am over here...(a sec Later) now im not.. and so on and so on? I am 36 yrs old and to play peek-a- boo with anyone other the my Nieces & Nephews or someone else's kid's... LOL Anyone else get the Peek-a-Boo Pains? Guest guest
I do and sometimes those are the worst pains for me. I hate the suddenness and the sharpness. > Hello everyone... > > Please tell me that some/most/any of you have what i call the peek-a- > boo Pains so i know it's not just me and this is typical of Fibro for > some? It's nice to know that and I aren't the only ones who get these strange pains. She also says that her feet get to hurting a lot of times that it feels like she is walking on jagged rocks. Guest guest
Absolutely. I get these pains often. An example, I can be just sitting there and get a horrible pain (sharp) in my foot or leg in one spot. It will stay for a few seconds or a minute and go away. (thank goodness it goes away because it is always sharp). I know exactly what you mean. It moves from place to place at random. Of course this is coupled with the all over body aches and painful areas such as shoulders and knees. Count me in. I have peek a boo pain almost everyday. hugs, Debra V.
