Guest guest
To all- My mother used to take potassium tabs to ease the cramping she got in her legs (if you can't eat bananas). It worked for her, but may not work for you. Mom's a medical mess, too. It's been so long I don't remember the mg. I suggest you may want to ask your doctor. I have had leg cramps for almost as long as i can remember, the fibro since the early 90's when it was dx. I do take leg cramp meds that I get at Walmart on the shelf that you chew up but never had thought about anything else. Would eat bananas more often if they were really really bad, and I HATE bananas!!!! nancy wrote: Thank you ! I will have to get some THIS week. Guest guest
For muscle cramps or foot cramps you might try this 9It sounds funny but it works) Take a bar of soap and place it underneath your fitted sheet on your bed and this will prevent them from happening. I know it sounds funny but it works. Angel
Guest guest
I've been getting more and more muscles spasms. They dont hurt or anything but they get annoying. They dont get too severe but they make me wonder why I have them. It seems like I get them in the most random spots. I get one on my head behind my ear. I guess every muscle can really spasm! They seem to move around my body and If I move the area enough then it seems to stop it. B In a message dated 2/23/2008 4:08:35 P.M. Guest guest
Hi berrycoke(sorry don't know your real name), I get alotof muscle spasms. Currently I'm on soma because I ended up spraining my hip. It is like a constant charlie horse if I move it at all. I get regular muscle spasms all over my body including my eyes. You can see many moving. I think my favorite one is my stomach when I look like the " baby " is moving. It brings back fond memories without the labor....whell maybe my hip is the labor! Guest guest
Dee, I had blood work done. I habitually have low potassium so I'm on a suppliment 2x/day. I would have bloodwork done befor suplimenting. My dad has habitually high potassium and has to cut potassium rich foods fom his diet. Even in the same family needs can be greatly different.
