Jeanne,

I think I'm like you in that regard - take away the side effects and

let's see the stuff work " now " !!!!! I hope that the adderall does

give you the benefits you and the doc are striving for, that's for

sure, although like you, I often exhibit some of the negative side

effects before stuff settles in. If memory serves (hahahaha....get

it? a fibro fog joke!), I think it usually takes anywhere from 48 to

72 hrs for a new medicine to get into your system; some can take up

to 2 weeks (like wellbutrin, which is why they never knew I was

deathly allergic to it until then!). Anyhow, here's praying the

sides go away quickly; one of the sides of a med that I am tapering

off of is the shakes......I hate it, but I was on such megadoses of

steroids in the hospital that they've been weaning me off for almost

a month now. That's nearly " done " .....until the next asthma flare!

((((Hugs))))

know about it, obviously. Adderall is a stimulant, often used to

treat ADD or ADHD, but we are trying it for increasing my energy

level instead of the Provigil that I was on. So far, I'm not liking

it but it's only been a day.

immediately and the benefits immediately as well. That's not too

much to ask, is it? LOL!

the time I don't kno what is taken for what. lol. Sometimes I feel
