Private High Schools Broward

My daughter has PDD and is high functioning. She has been main-streamed in public school since kindergarten and is now in 8th grade. She has an Aide with her all day. Difficult making friends because of extremely immature socially. I am very concerned about public high school next year for my daughter. I would like recommendations for private schools in the Broward area that deals with ASD children. She is on a Diploma track now but is having more and more difficulty keeping up with the classes. My personal experience has always been a visit & tour to the different schools that may be good for your child. Seeing a “class or a school in action” helps to know if the school would be right for her. Hello ,

If your daughter has been enrolled in a public school here in FL (and it sounds

like it) then she would qualify for a McKay Scholarship.

Regardless of whether you use McKay or not their directory of participating

schools includes almost all private schools that would cater to a DD student.
