Guest guest
Jeanne, I like the idea of jotting down briefly how you are feeling pain-wise. I bought a larger than normal calendar for this year and each day has lines and because my pulmonologist always asks the weirdest questions about my asthma, I had started notating if I had to use my rescue inhaler, was short of breath, that kind of thing so I could tell him honestly how many episodes over a course of XX weeks I had had. Now, I'll just add a line about my pain - whether flaring, etc. so I can keep track! Darlene > > Thanks for updating us, . I enjoy hearing from you. You sound very down, very depressed. Do you take any anti-depressant medication? Can you see some sort of counselor to help you with some of your issues? I would like to encourage you to keep at least a brief symptom diary. All you need to do is list a few words for the day, such as depression bad, pain level medium, very tired, or some such thing. This will help you see your progress and will help a doctor treat you. Take care. > Jeanne in WI > >
