Guest guest
Jeanne, So glad that the sf lifesavers helped! I have some of those too....lol...and the peppermints that I told you about. I have to take 2 diff nasal sprays and the 2nd one (astelin) no matter WHAT or HOW I do it leaves a horrendous aftertaste in the back of my throat for hours. NOTHING takes it away, not brushing or gargling or anything. I think that's why I had my doc take me off it before because it makes me queasy gutted then I have to take a phenergan then I'm snoozing all day.....lolol....oh the life we lead! Happily, I don't notice the taste as much today. Yay! > The drunk/buzzed feeling is a little scary because it felt like a " high " at first. I could see how someone might easily abuse this med without careful monitoring. Yikes! > Jeanne in WI > > > (((Jeanne))) > I have never taken that drug before *but* I can sympathize and empathize about the drunk buzzed feeling when I took my first few Lyrica and then when I went up in dosage! Do you have to wait to eat/drink anything or would perhaps a peppermint (thinking altoid here) be sufficient to cover up that taste for you? Just trying to think aloud > a little....I do that from time to time.... > > (((Hugs))) > Darlene > > >
