Guest guest
Lindsey, There's not a Vulvar Specialist through Hills Physician Medical Group I agree. Although, Hills Physican is sub-contracted with Stanford, UCSF, UC , I've already seen a so-called Vulvar Specialist at Standford and all she did was refer me to Fraser for PT. Which don't get me wrong, I truly appreciate the referral because I like and her mentor is Rhonda in Chicago. Now, I want a second opinion, my case manager at Hills found an OBGYN Dr.Deborah Kamali at UCSF who treats vulvar pain. Thats the route I plan on taking, to get an authorization from Hills, make the appt. and pray that this physician actually has knowledge and treatment plans. Has anyone ever seen this physician before? ** Re: Help Finding a Vulvar Specialist I don't think there's anybody with Hills. I had them for a while. :-( Hopefully you can find somebody in the Bay Area. Lindsey It's time to go back to school! Get the latest trends and gadgets that make the grade on AOL Shopping. Guest guest
I live near Fremont, CA and if I have any more trouble that I cannot handle I will check out Dr. Kramer. http://www.womenshealthfremont.com/md-scott-kramer-womens-health-specialists-fre\ mont-bay-area.htm because his office staff deals with vulvodynia. My former doctor has retired and I have not seen a doctor for vulvodynia for many years. On Tue, 05 Aug 2008 16:26:14 -0400, caliprincess2369@... wrote: >???? >????? Guest guest
How ironic I lived in Fremont all my life and now reside in Manteca. I'd like to check out Dr.Kramer if he has knowledge regarding Vulvar Vestibulitis. I'm looking at the link you gave and going to give his office a call today or tomorrow. Have you heard good things about this physician? ** Re: Help Finding a Vulvar Specialist >I don't think there's anybody with Hills.? I had them for a while.? :-(? Guest guest
I misunderstood what you were saying, Dr.Kramer isn't the physician who treats vulvodynia, its a member of his staff. I checked out the bio on all the physicians and Ailson Slack treats pelvic pain syndromes, so she'd be the one to see. Their group is affliated with Hills Physician Medical Group, so all I would need is a referral. This is the highlight of my day, I'm so glad you posted that link, you helped someone without even knowing it! ~~ Re: Help Finding a Vulvar Specialist >I don't think there's anybody with Hills.? Guest guest
My daughter told me that someone referred her to Dr. Kramer but I don't know whether she has seen him yet. All I know is that he has been in Fremont for years and is a member of Hills Physicians. I am glad to know which doctor in the group is involved with vulvar disorders. Wow, Manteca is quite a distance from Fremont - I though you were in San but Fremont is closer than San I guess. My doctor who treated me before knew a lot about vulvodynia and I was really sorry when I learned that he had retired. I well remember my last visit with him, he asked me whether I was going to let him touch me and I responded that I was surely going to try.
