Fri Oct 28, 2011 4:58 pm (PDT) ____________________________________Do not go for independent testing before the school district does their IDEA 2004 testing and evaluations. Broward is known for disregarding out of school evaluations. You are wasting your money if you do them first. You need to write a referal letter to the school district requesting evaluations under IDEA 2004. If you want to write something up I am a special education advocate and can review it for you.
