Guest guest Posted September 14, 2010 Report Share Posted September 14, 2010 Abi's Place, a nonprofit organization for children with moderate to severe disabilities, is hosting a Go Green Event on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10 am - 3 pm at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach. The purpose of the event is to:*Unite eco-friendly vendors that offer a variety of services/products*Unite eco-friendly & family-friendly nonprofits with similar missions*Have family-friendly activities, including a bounce house, face painting, and free crafts*Host a HUGE raffle with lots of GREAT prizesOur Sponsors include e-council, inc., The Dirty Peaches Clothing, Regal Cinema, Monkeyz Kloset, Monkey Joe's, Al Hendrickson Toyota, Point Pleasant Wellness Spa, and Autism Health & Wellness magazine.All proceeds will go toward educational and therapeutic services for children with moderate to severe disabilities. My beach bum is begging to go.. On a future note - the Family Resouce Fair at Signature Grand is always the last saturday of September.
