Guest guest
Ritualistic behavior and tics in response to transitional difficulties and or environmental factors. However it is liberating to say in result least I am not forced into change and environments I do not choose anymore. The onset of psycho-motor tics and relating ritualistic tic-like behavior I can recall was around age 7 or so and nearly all together stopped at 12. I was very determined as it became painful and I believe was a coping mechanism regarding school environments and changes. The ultimate liberation is my saying something incredibly controversial like ha ha you can't make me go to school anymore. Ten years later I'm still celebrating and despite telling the IEP people just leave me alone and let me do school work in a quite place without going from room to room. They needed to leave me alone like I asked as it was my human right. As an adult now I can do what I want and achieve much better things then when forced with lack of accommodation(s). (Explicitness) (More Explicitness) (Explicitness Ongoing) (Explicitness On My Grave Stone After I Pass Away From Old Age) I read about some of the concepts I wrote here wondering what was wrong with me before like words in my IEP paperwork. Nothing ever was really wrong with me just people forcing me to do things my mind was not built for. The autism concept is rather complex and I am happy to do things when I am ready, prepared for and choose. No exceptions. Young
