Surgery scheduled for 12/26/07

Hi all,

I am scheduled for surgery next week (12/26/07). After discussion,

the docs decided on the resection (hepaticojejunostomy) at this

time. They will send the mass found in the common bile duct to

pathology and make a definitive call on whether or not it's (pre-)

malignant. Anyway, I'll be in the hospital for a few days and ask my

wife Jen to update the group on my progress. Thanks to everyone on

the advice and notes of support over the past few months. It's very

comforting to have you all in our lives as we go through this.

Also, Jen and I are planning on attending the PSC conference in May

2008. Thanks for all the great work in organizing the event and

lining up such a great panel of speakers and presenters. We look

forward to meeting everyone and putting daces to names and sharing

our experiences. I'd love to help out for the next one. Perhaps we

can dsicuss it at the next conference.
