Hi, I'm 24 and I recently started experiencing clitoral pain and

sensitivity after having recurrent BV and a few urinary tract

infections, plus a long bout of gastroenteritis over a 4 month period

of time. I think it all started when I went from the Patch

(Ortho-Evra, high dose of Estrogen) to a very low dose pill

(Microgestin). Before that, I had never had any problems except one

yeast infection and a urinary tract infection. I am back on the Patch

now after going through a hellish 4 months of losing 15 lbs (I'm

already underweight for my height), vomiting, nausea, pain, and panic

attacks. I still have constant clitoral sensitivity and pain though,

and I feel like I'm going crazy from it and that I'll never have a

normal life again. I can't have sex, I can't wear pants, and I

constantly feel irritated and " aroused " (?) around my clitoral area.

I have an appointment tomorrow at the Pelvic Pain Center at GBMC in

Baltimore, and I really really really hope they can provide me with

some relief.

It just feels like something is pressing on that area constantly and

that there's this heaviness in my lower abdomen. I feel like it's

gotten slightly better, but it's still there, constantly making me

feel uncomfortable and slightly ill. I'm so worried that this is never

going to go away and that I'll be stuck with this for the rest of my

life. :( :( :(
