Guest guest
I know I've posted about this a few times since September but I'm just confused. I had my first cholangitis episode early september, 3 weeks after an ercp. Well i've been having issues on and off since then. I saw my hepa again late october and had the ultrasound and usual blood work. My liver and sleen are still enlarged (no surprise there) and my lft's are elevated but not bad (alk phos only 190 something). Well, once again, for about a week i've been having a lot more pain (darvocet doesn't touch it) and nausea and very pale colored stools and stomach cramps. I get chills sometimes but no fever. I'm not sure what to do??? Hepa doc gave me a script for cipro and said to start taking it if I get a fever and call him after I've been on it for 10 days. I don't want to call and bother them again. I kind of wish I'd get a fever just so I'd know for sure, either that or have everything go back to normal. What would you do? Should I just take the cipro and see if it gets better? I know you aren't medical doctors and stuff but most of you have went through this. Thanks and Happy Holidays everyone!!!
