Guest guest
My 11 year old autistic son is currently on Neurontin for sensory/body pain issues. He was getting very distressed and started biting himself, putting heavy objects on various parts of his body to relieve some kind of discomfort. He is virtually non-verbal so unable to tell me what was going on. After a hospital visit to rule out anything sinister, he was put on Neurontin and the symptoms abated, so, yes, in effect it has helped him with " anxiety. " As far as sleep goes, it had no effect at all. Only the first dose I gave him made him sleepy but from thereon did not affect him. Let me know if you need any more info.Caroline Hi, has anyone given their child neurontin to aid with sleeping and anxiety?
Guest guest
My son used to take neurontin at night it helped with sleep but never enough he still woke sporadically. He is doing much better now with clonidine. Good luck. neurontin Hi, has anyone given their child neurontin to aid with sleeping and anxiety?
