Thank you, Tara, none of us are here to get into heated discussions. So I think we should stop now...

I have my own veiws on vaccinations, and I am not part of this group to get into heated discussions. We are here to offer ou opinions, but don't compare vaccinating our children to animals...which I don't do either.

Jana,Improve their health? That makes no sense. Aren't the purpose of vaccines to prevent things. I got them AND YES I'm fully aware the ones I got aren't the same as the one my son gets. What vaccine did you get for him that improved his health? I am very interested.

Thanks!Sent from my iPhone

I can understand your concerns completely and I held back vaccines from my kids too, who are both autistic.

My 11 year old son was getting repetitive sinus and ear infections and occasional pneumonia and could rarely recover from a cold or the flu without antibiotics.

A hospital visit for other problems, revealed that his pneumococcal titres were very low and they suggested a vaccine to boost his immunity against this type of bacteria.

Before giving him the vaccine, I researched it and made sure that it did not contain, thimerosal, the mercury derived preservative. Although thimerosal was removed from the majority of vaccines in the early 2000's, it is still being used in some, such as the H1N1 vaccine, I believe.

Since my son had the vaccine, his health has improved enormously and he has had a couple of colds and managed to recover without any medication.

I think you need to get him tested as Ellen suggested and then make your decision based on the results. The vaccines may not be necessary.

I hope this helps.
