Hi ;

There could be several possibilities:

1. Uveitis (can be associated with ulcerative colitis):

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001005.htm

2. Dry eye syndrome (vitamin A deficiency (which can be associated with

PSC or IBD) is one possible cause)[also known as Keratitis sicca;

Xerophthalmia; Keratoconjunctivitis sicca]:

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000426.htm

3. Sjogren's syndrome (can be associated with PSC):

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000456.htm

Pancreatitis, sclerosing cholangitis and sicca have been found to occur

as a complex:

If your eyes continue to bother you, please go see an opthamologist.

Best regards,

I think a lot of us have had eye problems/pain/soreness. I went to an opthamologist and got plugs in 2 tear ducts, as well as eye drops. I wash my face and eye lashes with 's baby shampoo and use LiquiTears twice a day. So far this is working for me.

Hey all,Resenlty I have been having problems in the middle of the night with my eyes hurting. It feels like I have a scratch or something on my eye. I went to the doctor and he told me to use and ointment. After using it for several nights I didn't get any relief. What do you all suggest. Is this a system of PSC?
