Guest guest
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2008 05:48 PM, CST I saw the surgeon today and he seems very pleased. He isn't worried about anything, although he did state that my liver function tests are still not normal, they continue to drop - slowly. Improvement is the main thing. The pathology report from the liver was not back by the time I was there today, but he expects it to be any day. He said that the liver was, " good in some places, and very bad in others. The left lobe was the worst and although parts of the right looked decent there was clear evidence of stenosis... " This was obviously the time to get transplanted! Yea! Now from a sad spot deep in my heart...my aunt Sharon passed away this afternoon, due to ovarian cancer. She fought an incredible fight, for more than two years. She will always hold a special place in my heart and I know that heaven is rejoicing even as we're weeping. Please keep my entire family in your prayers of peace. Thank you,
Guest guest
, I would like to thank you for the note that you wrote about how to be able to carry on a normal life while having PSC. I have already taken on some of the suggestions that you offered. This is a special thank you because you were getting ready for your trip to the hospital. Congrats on your NEW liver and it sounds like you are doing real well. Lee G
