Guest guest
I have been receiving Remicade infusions for several months now and I feel great!. Normal bowel movements No more oral ulcers No more sweats during the daytime or at night (due to active Crohns) I can eat anything! that includes dairy products (no more runs, cramps, abdominal pain). Remicade has not helped relieve my osteo arthritis pain though. Still as stiff as ever..knees, hips, spine and now my hands. I hope to switch over to Humira as soon as the VA adds it to their formulary. Guest guest
Everyone, My doctor wants to put me on Remicade and I have heard great things about it like Andi just said, but I have heard VERY bad things about side effects. Does anyone have insight on that? Is it worth it knowing that your chances of getting tumors and stuff like that increases a lot? Armanarman_shirin@... Guest guest
Arman, I was hesitant to try Remicade also, but I really had no other choice. My Crohns is pretty bad (oral, small intestine and colon). Nothing else was working for me. Either I received the infusions or I would eventually end up with a bowel obstruction. I have not dealt with any side effects from the Remicade. If you are desperate and housebound due to severe UC or Crohns I would seriously consider giving Remicade a try.
