Guest guest
I have had trouble with scleritis. One of the symptoms is that it wakes you up in the night with sharp pain. It recurs with increasing frequency, and only prednisone is effective in stopping the pain. However, each recurrence seems to require a larger dose, with the problem of a longer tapering, and side effects of the pred. Web sites have no real answer. One mentioned prograf as a possibility. I was assuming that it was probably the cause. My Docs say it's uveitis and are not concerned. I am quite worried, since it can cause sight loss.
