Guest guest
Teri, I've never tried to crochet rag rugs *but* another group I belong to has members that have and I think there is a website (doncha just love google?) that has good hints. And knowing 4 or 5 stitches is plenty to " get you by " when crocheting! There is a blanket called the " round ripple " that has a free pattern online (I think under angelcrafts, darned fibro fog!) that is super easy yet looks very intricate. Guest guest
Darlene, I've googled it quite a bit and there is a lot of info out there - even some interesting You Tube pieces on how to make the rag rugs in different ways besides crocheting - I tried a couple of them, but crocheting seems to be the easiest for me. I've been scouring the house for old clothes, rags, sheets - you name it, that I don't use anymore to use the fabric. I'm really getting into this and as said anything to keep our minds off the pain. I'll have to look up angelcrafts though - that one doesn't sound familiar. Thanks!
