Guest guest
Hello: My son (Dx pdd nos, tourettes, mood disorder/BP) is having SEVERE anxiety. He always has anxiety but lately it is debilitating. It is a worrying-anxiety. He is on abilify and small dose of lamictal but I am looking for something kind of PRN in the mean time that is fast acting. Have heard of 5HTP and inositol, but I do not think those are fast acting, in other words I think you need to take them for a few weeks plus I am afraid of combining either with the heavy meds he is on. I am thinking somehting like chamomile or something like that which may provide a little relief. I tried the Bach's stress relief drops and no results. Any ideas? Thank you! Guest guest
My daughter was just recently put on 5HTP. She is also on Prozac. The psychiatrist warned me that the two drugs can interact with each other. Please consult with your doctor if she is on any other prescription medication, just in case. 5HTP starts working withing 30 minutes of taking it. quick anxiety relief?
