Guest guest
so true, it dawned on me today that I get canker sores from to much acide on the corner of my moth when i eat pineapple..then it hit me like a ton of bricks that the sores look like lacerations like the ones on my vulva which have improves so much by following the PH diet and i have only made some adjutments.. I was a PT today and complaining that some of the exercises are causing me to be constipated. I am really tight..she told me to drink 8 oz of liquid a day whic could be soup(750 mg salt), coffee(dehdrates the colon, acid, drains vit. and minerals) and that it is normal to only go BMN 2 to 3 times a week..This woman is huge, and has a million health issues, on ots of meds but I listened with respect but thought, I am not going back there..she works with a well known hospital here in town and I think it is important to listen to those who live a healthy life style and it is easy to figure out who does and does not.. Guest guest
Hi: Have you checked into Behcet Disease? A friend of mines daughter was diagnosed with it. One of the symptoms is ulcers in the vulva and mouth. Just thought I would throw this out there. Guest guest
thanks though Sherri..I will certianly look into this though..but I do believe whatever name is given it is caused from a weak immune system and over acid tissue from imbalances in the system! Guest guest
My daughter always got a lot of canker sores in her mouth from the time she was about three years old. When she was 15, she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Canker sores are common in people with Crohn's disease (along with a lot of other ailments she had), we just didn't know it. -------------- Original message -------------- > thanks though Sherri..I will certianly look into this though..but I do > believe whatever name is given it is caused from a weak immune system > and over acid tissue from imbalances in the system! > > > ------------------------------------ > > **IF REPLYING TO THIS POST, PLEASE REMOVE ORIGINAL POST, > Thanks for your cooperation! ** > > ***

Guest guest
I have never heard or read that Crohn's is a yeast rooted issue. Did you read that somewhere that you could post the link? -------------- Original message -------------- > that would make sense as Chrons is a yeast rooted issue! Guest guest
There seems to not only be some connections between Candida and Crohn's but also between Saccaromyces Cerevisiae which is simply a food yeast used in baking and brewing alcohol products (Baker's and Brewer's yeast). Here are a couple articles: http://www.food-allergy.org/crohns.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti_saccharomyces_cerevisiae_antibodies Here is the the google page where I found those. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=yeast+crohn%27s&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq= Arline I have never heard or read that Crohn's is a yeast rooted issue. Guest guest
Hi Arline: I read quickly through the first article. I am always leary about articles with 1) no author and 2) that try to sell you books at the end. There are a lot of people out there claiming to be cured of Crohn's with various remedies. They are mostly thought of as opportunists in the Crohn's community. In all of the years has been treated for Crohn's, yeast has never been mentioned and anti fungals have never been given. We go to one of the top doctors in the country. I will read the rest later. Thanks again. Guest guest
Hi Sherri, You are correct to be hesitant about articles that you describe. I included the google page so people can read for themselves and decide although I realize that people if interested can google for themselves. When one's intestinal tract is " messed up " I believe it is normal almost to have overgrowths of candida and other undesirable microbes, etc., whatever the inflammatory bowel disease happens to be. There has been research done that shows that people with Crohn's have much higher than usual IgA reactions to baker's and brewer's yeast. I believe Dr. Fine has done that. There is no money to be made for a medical system to study if cooking yeast causes Crohn's and so I doubt there will be any money spent to do that. There are all kinds of research studies going on in the the world in research labs, universities, etc., that never make it to the doc's offices and to their knowledge for that matter. Since I have seen the best doc's in the world for certain tests, supposedly, and have found them entirely lacking and inaccurate I choose to not believe everything I read as well as not believe everything the docs tell me. We certainly have choices and I am glad for that. They often are the last to find out anything. And if one wants to wait for thirty years until the medical system decides to fund, study, research some issue so they can find a new expensive pharmaceutical, they can. I don't have time for that. LOL Since I have been found to react to baker's and brewer's yeast with an autoimmune reaction to it by a lab finding yeast specific antibodies (well known and identified by multiple labs--not a pipedream) I choose to believe that I shouldn't eat it and let it destroy my intestinal tract. I don't have Crohn's (yet) but if I did I would believe it at least enough to try it since I have this autoimmune reactons. This information is much better for me than waiting until I am a lot sicker and I am grateful for it and other tests I have had. If the antibodies are found it is probably a good idea to believe it is doing some damage whether it is Crohn's or not.. At least I would choose to believe this particular thing until I spent a lot of time finding out differently. Thank you for your interest and I hope you find your answers.
