Guest guest
Have you been checked for Interstatial Cystitis? That is the first thing that came to mind when I read your post. Have you made any dietary changes? I'm sure the other ladies will have ideas, too. I hope for some relief for you soon. > > I have horrible burning in my vulva, pain and frequent urine urgency. Guest guest
I think it could be the case with blood flow because as soon as my feet get a bit cold my vulva hurts much more...generally cold makes me feel even worse. Please let me know what kind of doctor should I see for it or if there is anything I could do? This condition made my life a nightmare.... Guest guest
Hi, What have you done thus far? What types of docs or physical therapists, etc., have you seen? Which meds have you tried? That way we're not telling you to try things you've already tried. Also, are you on hormonal bc? Lindsey

Have your doctor or a vaginal specialist check you out and do a biopsy of the area. It sounds like you could have Lichen Planus which is a skin condition and rare, but can be treated! I have been going through the same thing for over 30 yrs. until I found a specialist who once the biopsy results came it, showed me what I have. I treat it with a steroid ointment called clobetasol and also with lidocaine 5% compounded by a pharmacy. There is no cure for this, but it can be controlled. No one seems to know what the cause is and they think it may be an auto immune condition. Go see a specialist and have the biopsy, which for me was painless. Good Luck. >
Guest guest
My best advice is not to go to a doctor..I did a biopsy and it caused much worse damage..even though the biopsy came back as completely normal..over the years I was told that I had Lichens Sclerosis, pre cancerous cells, auto immuno disease, u name it I was told i had it..doctors know how to treat with meds as they should as that is what they are taught..I wanted to heal, so I contacted everyone I could that healed and right now I am about 95% normal..I was told to take steroids after being told that I had Lichens Sclerosis and read about others and how they began spliting, etc I chose not to..I got my doc to write a prescrption for compunded testosterone, and estrogen, and took an antifungal for a rare yeast that I never tested postive for nor did I test positive for anything including LS. What I did and saw improvements in a week was to follow the Acid/Alkaline diet that I posted in the past on this website. I have been eating fruit thinking that it was alkaline which it is to many but not with people with compromised immune systems which we have with this..I realized, the same lacerations that were on my vulva looked like the canker sore on my lips when I ate fruit..it all makes sense but if you want to heal, u have to really educate yourself..I have been dealing with this for 4 years and just now seeing huge improvemnt the past 2 weeks by following the plan I have mentioned..I really think it is diet and yeast realted even if your cultire comes back negative..that is my advice for what it is with if u want to heal..go to a doctor if you want to be treated and I would be very careful of what ypu put down there!!
