Hi Sharon - Are you aware that taking the herb, milk thistle, can help your

liver? I've taken it a couple times when my liver enzymes came back high and

both times the herb helped bring it back to normal. Now I just continue to take

it because of all the meds I'm constantly on. Take care.

My liver enzymes were up once following abdominal surgery. This is a fairly

common occurence. Then this past Oct. they were up for unknown reasons,

probably due to the meds I am on. I try to watch how much Tylenol I take, but

really think it is all of them combined. So taking the milk thistle is just

sort of to help the liver out some.

Yesterday I felt lousy due to stress and IBS. Hopefully today is a little

better. At least the snow storm went south of my area this time. Think Spring.

I know about milk thistle only because a friend has used it, but did not

realize the actual benefit of it, as she never told me, except she felt better.

I have thought about getting it lately. Have your enzymes come back high

because of the meds you have been on for disease?, or just unknown. I have not

had mine come back elevated yet but other symptoms and knowledge of long term

use of these meds I know can be damaging. But use to eat handfulls of tylenol a

day, so no different than the pain med. I just don't feel good anymore, and

notice nausea alot, wonder if my liver is going to act up now. Thanks for the

info. I am definitley going to invest in it now. Hope fibro goes easy on you

today. Sharon
