Guest guest
Hi Everyone, It has been a long time since I have been on the board so please forgive me for being too long. First, and I will be attending the confernece in ville! Second, has done pretty well since his ERCP/Sphincterotomy last summer (although recently he has begun to have more discomfort - it has not been at the pre-ERCP/spincterotomy level). Third, I will be doing the rose sale fundraiser again this year and I think we will make much more money than we did in 2006 because we will be selling the roses for two different studios (Melody - our daughter) is taking lessons at both studios and they are having their recitals on the same day May 31 at the same place but different times (one in the afternoon and one in the evening). So, if there are any volunteers in the Charlotte area who would like to volunteer to help make rose bouquets on Friday May 30 we can use the help. In fact, if you are a state employee they give some time each year when you can do volunteer work for nonprofits - and one of his co-workers plan to take advantage of this. Since it has been a while since I have been on the board I think that I should give a brief introduction to those who don't know us. Basically, my husband Dennison Jr. has PSC & UC (diagnosed in 2004 but with elevated LFT since 2001 - maybe before but he didn't go to the doctor for years before then). My mom's sister, Gwen Shell, died from complications of PSC (also had Chron's) in 2004 a couple months before was diagnosed. Last year we had a scare that could have cancer but the ERCP/sphincterotomy (where samples were sent to Mayo for analysis) did not find any cancer and he has done a lot better since then - other than the mild pancreatitis immediatedly after. I have been busy. I finished my MBA in May and decided to start my own consulting company (I am doing quite well with my company - I should have taken the plunge a long time ago). In addition to the PSC that my husband has and that my aunt Gwen had, the doctors suspect that my mom's other sister has PSC because she has had elevated LFT and other symptoms for years but they were not able to get into the bile ducts when they tried to do an ERCP on her and she can't have the MRCP because she has been fighting breast cancer and she can't put up her arms and she has a titanium port in her right now. My dad has NASH with cirrhosis, his older brother died from NASH with cirrhosis, his sister has NASH, and his younger brother has fatty liver (although he has not had a biopsy to rule out NASH), my dad's father and grandmother also had NASH (diagnosed in my grandfather - suspected with my great-grandmother). Melody and I have annual LFT's, mine is due soon - Melody's was last week and it is still all clear. Sorry this was so long. Best Regards, Nichole (wife of )

Guest guest
Hi Lee, I need some help getting something from the organization saying that this is an approved event for a qualified non-profit so that the state employees can get approval to take the time off with pay for community service. Just let me know what I need to do to get this. Thanks, Nichole > > > Hi Everyone, > > > > It has been a long time since I have been on the board so please > > forgive me for being too long. > > > > First, and I will be attending the confernece in ville! > > > > Second, has done pretty well since his ERCP/Sphincterotomy > > last summer (although recently he has begun to have more discomfort - > > it has not been at the pre-ERCP/spincterotomy level). > > >
