Guest guest
My body has never been able to tell me what is wrong. I am currently trying hypnotherapy in an attempt to hear what my body is trying to say. The recent discussion on twisted hips made me suddenly remember that I had a wreck on my bike when I was 24 and I broke my pelvis. I wonder if that wreck left my hips slightly twisted and maybe I have unbalanced muscles. I will ask my physical therapist. I love this group because it has given me all the ideas that have helped my survive and improve. I read someone's story and maybe it strikes a chord or gives me and idea. I have lots of trouble being optimistic because I have had this for 14 years and the pain is set in my nerves and spinal chord. Dr. Zolnoun for example said that she could not help me any more, it was as good as I was going to get. She is really an expert. Okay gotta go. NEVER, EVER!!! stop pushing. Don't let doctors, family, ANYONE try to blame this on you, to make you feel like you're exaggerating or being a baby or making it up. Listen to your body, because it's telling you what's wrong...just, decoding it takes some work. If I hadn't caught on that my scoliosis was part of the problem (since no one else would listen), I'd still be sitting in a doctor's office, dealing with quick fixes that weren't fixing the root of the problem. You've got to be the one who's strong, because while this journey is so hard, and can be so painful and frustrating,
