Guest guest
Hi Cranberry,Glad to hear you are finally getting some answers to your pain. I've read where several of the women on our group either use or have used steroids creams. Be sure to ask for some estrogen cream to use, too. Steroids can be helpful when needed, but they can also thin the skin. The estrogen cream could possibly build up the tissue and help that flap of skin from tearing. I hope things go well for you...keep us posted. Take Care,ChelleI had posted on the LS board as I was convinced that is what I hadhowever it seems that on seeing a lovely Vulva Dermatologist today thatI have Vestibuldynia and also after the birth of my second dc I havebeen left with an extra 'flap of skin' at the 6 o'clock pointwhich ofcourse keeps splitting everytime I have intercourse. She had referred me to a Gynae for a corrective surgery and have beenprescribed Trimovate to use for 3 months. Anyone else used this?Although I can't say it's great I feel better finally. I've beensayingto my GP, various nurses and two gynae's previously that I was sure Ihadn't been stiched properly after the birth of my 2nd DC 18 months agoand finally someone agrees!!!
